In August 2024, we cruised aboard the Explora I, traveling from Athens to Istanbul with stops in Mykonos, Volos, Skopelos, and Thessaloniki. Along the way, we wandered the villages and vineyards of Mykonos, toured the ancient city of Dion and enjoyed views of Mount Olympus from Volos, climbed the scenic hillsides of Skopelos, and explored Thessaloniki’s wine country. We also took time to relax with a spa day at sea before finishing the journey in Istanbul, where we navigated the lively Grand Bazaar.
