Amsterdam and what a better way to start the morning than with bubbles, that’s right, after a long flight we are starting our European leg with a Champagne “flight” – I justify it with “well I am on my way to France” – sure I am not going to the Champagne region but who cares, it’s vacation! Plus, we were conservative and went with the customary ginger ale in flight (why the heck does GA taste so good on a plane anyway?).

  
We’ve already met our nemesis “couple”.  Two older ladies who are on our cruise.  Seated across the row and we’ve already bumped into them off the plane – stay tuned!

Oh, hubby rocks – we upgraded seats for the long leg.  Great almonds KLM!
