After two nights in Venice we said goodbye to our island oasis and headed to the pier.
After a brief pause at the terminal we were onboard and Venice was passing by in the pier side and fading into the distance. We were pleased with the vessel, the Azamara Pursuit. Having had a disappointing experience with the food and condition of the boat our last journey, we were hoping for a bounce back voyage.
The first afternoon and evening were the usual muster drills and welcome talks from captain and crew. We capped off our first night in the piano lounge and headed to bed before our first full day at sea.
Our first full day on the vessel was an at sea day. Most of our time was spent on the various sun decks or listening to the guest lecturer about the first port of call. That evening we attended a fantastic chef’s tasting table before again finishing the evening at the piano bar. The ship was zeroing in on Montenegro as we fell into bed!
Great post 🙂
