A Stroll Through Montevideo

After the Azamazing evening, we had another full day on our own in Montevideo. From the port, the City has a well marked pedestrian walkway into the most scenic area. There we found numerous shops, restaurants, and points of interest. Jen cannot help herself but to tour a cathedral, so the Montevideo Cathedral was a must.

We enjoyed a nice lunch complete with more melted provolone cheese (a Uruguayan staple before a meal) and a delicious fish stew. A couple of proper G&Ts rounded out the meal.

After a bit more strolling throughout the historic district it was time to return to the vessel, say goodbye to Uruguay and prepare for two days at sea.
